Diary Entry

 10:30 p.m.

Dear Diary

It was a tense day today. A couple came to my shop to buy an engagement ring. Their pet monkey secretly followed them. The girl monkey slipped into the shop without being noticed. She took a pearl necklace and put it around her neck. As we tried to get back the necklace from her, she rushed out into the market. All of us followed her. Many people joined us to catch the monkey, but none could. Lastly, the monkey threw the necklace into the canal. I lost hope of getting it back. But the customer jumped into the canal, traced the necklace and returned it to me. All is well that ends well!

Till we meet again....
